Me and my sister have the entire house to ourselves tonight. Which normally means I’d be blasting music while screaming my head off on Xbox Live, but the whole my-mom-in-the-hospital situation sort of puts me in more considerate attitude. My dad is staying the night to keep her company. (The procedure went well, she’s now doing fine and should be home tomorrow.)

For the last handful of days I’ve become out of sync with myself, particularly when it comes to conversing with other people. When trying to talk to someone else, I can’t put words together effectively to say what’s on my mind. I just don’t know what to say, or even how to keep a conversation going. I think about Warped Tour 2012 and I get the feeling of being nagged. I’m not looking forward to it this year. I’m seeing the experience as a chore, instead of something that’s meant to be fun. Sure, it was fun last year… but I guess I’m just not up for standing in the sun for 10 hours in 100 degree weather while buying $4 beverages every 30 minutes just to stay...
Have you read my dad's book yet?
laughingatmynightmare:
You really should. The main character is based on me. I promise it’ll make you laugh, cry, and smile. Proceeds from every purchase go towards Muscular Dystrophy research. If you live locally, he’ll be doing a book signing at Jumbars Restaurant this Sunday from 1:30-3:30PM!
Get it here: The Sidecar Kings
And let’s try to get this post lots of reblogs before my dad gets...

(Tomorrow) I begin my pursuit to get better in shape. I’ll start by running for thirty minutes every morning Planning on making it a habit for the rest of the summer (at least).
